What you can expect from us:

  • A choice of support to help you quit smoking: in‑person sessions, telephone support, or group sessions
  • Professional NHS guidance tailored to your needs, with regular appointments to keep you on track
  • Support delivered with dignity and respect, working in partnership with you throughout your quit journey
  • Clear information about stop‑smoking treatments, how to use them, and where to get them
  • Signposting to our website and social media for extra support and information
  • Optional daily motivational text messages

What we expect from you:

  • Treat staff with dignity and respect — we operate a zero tolerance policy for abusive behaviour.
  • Attend your appointments at the agreed time. If you can’t make it, please call or text to cancel or rearrange — this is an NHS appointment.
  • Agree to be contacted if you miss an appointment.
  • Use stop‑smoking products as advised by your practitioner to give yourself the best chance of becoming smokefree.
  • Agree to have a carbon monoxide test as part of your quit journey (where available).
  • Commit to quitting smoking by choosing a stop date and working with your advisor to create a plan that helps you stay smoke-free.
  • Agree to be contacted every 3 months during your first year of being smokefree so we can update your records.
