Yorkshire Smokefree Calderdale work with pharmacies to help residents quit

Are you thinking about quitting smoking?

If you live in Calderdale and would you like face to face support whilst stopping smoking, we have a variety of ways you can access the Yorkshire Smokefree service across the district. Yorkshire Smokefree Calderdale has a specialist service who work across Calderdale and are based at the Laura Mitchell Health & Wellbeing Centre in the centre of Halifax, as well as other places.

As well as our numerous clinics, you can also visit one of six pharmacies that provide expert help and stop smoking support. It's free to use and very accessible, you don't necessarily have to make an appointment.

Pharmacies are able to supply the full range of stop smoking medications and can check your carbon monoxidde levels to keep you motivated during your quit.
