Calderdale Council is determined to help people quit smoking, and as part of this commitment Cllr Tim Swift, the Council Leader, has signed up to a national campaign emphasising the importance of stop smoking services.
17th October marks the start of Calderdale Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults & Children Week and we are delighted to be involved.
Yorkshire Smokefree Calderdale will be supporting the Breathe 2025 campaign alongside the Illingworth Junior Rugby League club.
Calderdale gets a new Healthy Living website, built because residents said they wanted to know about all the ways to be healthy and more active in Calderdale in one place. The website promotes fun, free or cheap ways to get healthy in Calderdale and we plan to build on this even more in the future!

People who have given up smoking in Calderdale are being given a chance to test out leisure facilities in the local area with the launch of a new initiative offered by Yorkshire Smokefree Calderdale.
